QuoteRoast is designed to help you understand a quote while limiting how long the original document is retained.
Private uploads
Your uploaded PDF, image, or screenshot is stored privately for analysis. QuoteRoast does not publish source documents through public URLs. We retain only a secure storage reference, limited file metadata, and a deletion schedule.
Short, configurable source-file retention
Raw quote files are automatically scheduled for deletion after the configured support window. The current deletion period is shown before upload and on each quote in your account. Workspace owners can choose a conservative period between 7 and 30 days for new uploads. You can delete your quote earlier at any time.
Optional benchmark contribution
Your analysis is available whether you opt in or not. If you opt in, QuoteRoast may use a de-identified, structured analysis record to improve pricing benchmarks and analytics. It does not include supplier or customer names, street addresses, emails, phone numbers, account numbers, quote or invoice numbers, or free-text personal notes.
What a de-identified record can include
We retain only the data needed for a meaningful comparison: quote category, broad postcode bucket, job attributes, structured line items, totals, a date bucket, and extraction evidence or confidence metadata.
Your controls
In My quotes & data, you can see your opt-in choice, source-file deletion status, and the scheduled deletion date. Use Delete my quote to remove the private source file and the account-linked normalized analysis record early.
